Can medicated shampoo for dogs burn their skin?

I am supposed to leave it on for 10 minutes per the vet.Can medicated shampoo for dogs burn their skin?
Depending what kind of condition you dog has then yes it could. If the condition has gotten so bad that it has small open wounds then of course it would burn. But if its something like the first stages of hot spots then it usually shouldn't...but look at it like this, at least its fixing whatever is wrong with the dog!Can medicated shampoo for dogs burn their skin?
if the vet says its ok then use it, they're far more qualified than us :)
