See a dermatologist. He or she will appraise your condition. Scalp problems are very complex

There are many off-the-shelf shampoos that treat such afflictions, but if you don't buy precisely the right one, you'll aggravate the condition and it will just get worse.

And while you're there, you can get a free look over for skin cancer. Well worth the cost of the visit.Severe dandruff - How do I control that is not going away with medicated shampoos? I've tried all of them.
First, what type of dandruff? A lot of dry scalp flakes are caused by not rinsing the product out of your hair completely, using other products such as frizz control, shine control, etc. When using any other product in your hair, you need to wash with a mild shampoo ever night to keep the scalp from drying out and flaking.

If the flakes are from someone using your combs and brushes, or you using someone else's...you shouldn't as the oils in the combs and brushes can cause a reaction of flakes.

Washing your combs and brushes weekly in with your whites with bleach will clean and disinfect.

A low tech solution is to use facial/body scrubs on you scalp. The ones with ground up peach pits or the like works well. Rinsing with apple cider vinegar works also.

Hope this helps.
You have plaque psoriasis,Dear one,not Dandruff.

Buy psoriasis shampoo %26amp; ask the doc if he can reccomend a good one.
Go to a dermotoligist. I have used prescription shampoo and it makes all the difference.
Take more showers and brush your hair more. Hope this helps
