In the last few weeks she has started loosing hair very badly, can actually see it malting as she walks past. Any one have any idea what problem is. Shes also a very fussy eater.I have terrior pup and used medicated shampoo on her and she was left with dandruff like flakes on her back.?
did you use dog shampoo?

either way you shouldnt use it so frequently

supplement her diet with fish oils to improve coatI have terrior pup and used medicated shampoo on her and she was left with dandruff like flakes on her back.?
She maybe having a allergic reaction to the medication in the shampoo. Try giving her another bath, but this time use baby shampoo!
I HAVE 3 BICHONS AND I NEVER EVER BATH THEM IN ANYTHING OTHER THAN BABY SHAMPOO
your dog could be having a reaction to the shampoo or has other problems you should speak to your vet about this.
make sure you wash all the shampoo out, know it sounds obvious but my dog has sensitive skin and he gets scurfy if i dont wash all off. i use tea tree shampoo if i have to wash him now he is a border terrrier x. could be allergic to something or just sensitive, make sure your dog doesn't have contact with fleas as that can show the same symptoms again its a sensitivity thing, any doubts though take her to the vet for a check up. good luck hope you sort it out
Was it a dog shampoo or a human one?

If it was a humn shampoo she may be allergic to it.

Remember dogs should not be bathed often-once or twice a year is enough if you groom them right!
Stop bathing your dog so much! Too much water combined with a strong shampoo (any shampoo is a strong shampoo at that age -- use a shampoo for puppies if you have to bathe her) can dry out her skin and give her dandruff. Also, she might be in a period where her coat changes from puppy to more of a terrier coat. As the breeder you got her from, and see what they say. If they have no idea, I'd say consult a vet if the problem persists, particularly if the dog is uncomfortable (dry skin, itchy, scratches herself so she bleeds behind the ears)
there is a product called oder be gone at pet shop cost 12 dollars it gets rid of any bacteria fugus problem just add to drinking water
she could have been allergic to the medication in the shampoo. was it doggy shampoo? go to the vets
Was there something wrong with her to actually need the medication? Also, if she was young then your not really supposed to bathe them yet, at least not with anything strong.

There may be some shampoo still left on her, either that or she is having a reaction to it. Give her another bath, this time without any shampoo.
I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY YORKIE SHE HAS ALLERGIES AND THE ONLY THING THAT HELPED HER WAS TO GO TO A VET SPECIALIST AND SHE GAVE ME AN RX FOR KANGAROO AND OAT DOG FOOD AND SPECIAL SHAMPOO FOR HER BABY SHAMPOO ALSO WORKS WELL IN PINCH
